- Situated on the coast, a few miles north of Dornoch, Strathview Lodge is well placed for those wishing to pursue the traditional highland pastimes of salmon and trout fishing, stalking (with gun or camera) and bird watching.
- The wild brown trout which proliferate the local lochs are famous for their fighting spirit and are guaranteed to provide excellent sport, while the rivers in the area can produce salmon of great quality. Fly fishing is the predominant method of fishing in the region, but there are locations where spinners and worm are allowed. If required, we can provide assistance to arrange fishing and boat hire packages.
- Herds of wild Red deer roam the area and during the season stalking may be organised.
- Horse Riding may be enjoyed from two nearby stables, with trails over the hills and valleys, reaching magnificent views of distant lochs and mountains.
